Named the “2014 Best Arts and Cultural Event in Portage County,” this street festival boasts over 80 artisans selling and displaying their handmade works of art as well as a “Merchant Circle," great food, a Chinese auction of art and local prizes, and a popular photo contest, as well as wine tasting by four local wineries.

Art on the Hill Photo Contest
Enter photos of any subject: Portraits, Landscapes, Events, Places , Art Photography, Nature etc.
Photos also accepted for the 2023 DMRC Calendar. Consider entering a photo with the theme of Porches and Front Doors in the Mantua area. Any photos of the Mantua area—Village, Shalersville, Township or Hiram are eligible. Calendar photos will be judged along with all the photo categories for prizes.
Photographers of every age (Pre-K through adult) may enter. Indicate the correct age group on the entry form. Students, include the grade you were in last year.
$5.00 to enter 1 photo. $20 for 5 photos
All photos must be an 8 x 10 print, color or black and white, and mounted in an 11 x 14 inch matte cut for an 8 x 10 inch photo. (These may be purchased ready-made at stores like Michael’s or Joann’s). No frames—we cannot hang them
Entry forms, photos with entry fees may be left at Jake’s beginning July 1 through July 8, 2023 or brought to the festival at Five Five Media Studio (in the Granary Building) between 8:00 and 9:45 AM on July 9
